Hi! Welcome to Hoory AI. In this user guide, we'll walk you through the simple steps of creating an SMS-based inbox on Hoory AI.
Let's get started.
- To set up an SMS channel, navigate to Settings → Inboxes → "Add Inbox" button.
2. Select SMS from the list of available channels.
3. Choose Twilio as the API provider and configure the inbox.
4. Then proceed with filling in the rest of the fields:
- Inbox Name: Name the SMS-based channel that will be used across the application.
- Phone Number: Add the phone number you will be using to communicate with your customers. It has to be verified in Twilio.
- Account SID: Log into Twilio Console and find the account SID.
Authentication Token: Log into Twilio Console and find the account Auth Token.
5. Once all the fields are filled in, click the "Create Twilio Channel" button.
6. Add agents to your SMS inbox.
Congratulations! You have successfully created your SMS-based inbox in Hoory AI. Whenever a customer sends a message to your number, you will be able to see and reply to it from your Hoory AI dashboard.
